Loader/Unloader

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Loader/Unloader to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently loading and unloading products from trucks and containers, ensuring that all items are handled safely and accurately. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations and a strong understanding of equipment used in the loading and unloading process.

Responsibilities

• Operate various types of equipment including order pickers, cranes, clamp trucks, and cherry pickers to facilitate loading and unloading tasks.
• Accurately pick orders and prepare them for shipment, ensuring that all items are correctly labeled and accounted for.
• Maintain an organized workspace by keeping the warehouse clean and free of hazards.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient shipping and receiving processes.
• Perform regular inspections of equipment to ensure safety standards are met.
• Assist in building pallets and preparing products for storage or shipment as needed.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating heavy equipment.

Skills

• Experience with order picking, shipping, and receiving processes is preferred.
• Proficient in operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, and cherry pickers.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order fulfillment.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Physical stamina to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
• Excellent teamwork skills with a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
