What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Operator position at Element2 Group?
We are seeking enthusiastic Industrial Manufacturing Machine Operators for a variety of shifts to operate various machinery associated with metal preparation. Machinery includes, but is not limited to shears, kilns, saws, torch booths, distributors, crushers, etc. Machine Operators may have to manually maneuver up to 25 lbs frequently.
ALL qualified candidates MUST have experience operating manufacturing machinery. Various shifts open. Please indicate your available shift preference when applying.
Job Description:
- Operate all processing equipment, as required.
- Perform and report daily maintenance on all assigned equipment, as required.
- Label, stencil, or otherwise identify and prepare containers designated for storing material.
- Insure material is properly sampled and identified according to procedures.
- Immediately notify supervisor of any problems, malfunction, or potential problem that may affect processing objectives. Example: different configurations, defective equipment, poor cleaning results, etc.
- Maintain good housekeeping and orderly condition of the work area.
- Comply with all written safety procedures, and work in a safe manner to insure not only personal safety, but also the safety of all others.
- Follow all company procedures, under direction of supervisor.
- Assist lesser-qualified employee’s, under the direction of the supervisor.
- Perform other work as directed by his supervisor.
