Mechanical Assembler

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling mechanical components and systems according to specifications, ensuring high-quality standards and efficiency. This role requires a keen eye for detail, proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Assemble mechanical components using hand tools and power tools, ensuring precision and adherence to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand assembly processes and requirements.
• Utilize calipers and other measuring instruments to verify dimensions and ensure quality control.
• Fabricate components as needed, applying machining techniques where applicable.
• Conduct soldering tasks for electrical connections as required by assembly projects.
• Operate forklifts safely to transport materials within the assembly area.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve assembly processes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in mechanical assembly or a related field is preferred.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and machinery used in assembly processes.
• Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
• Familiarity with calipers and other measuring tools for quality assurance purposes.
• Basic knowledge of fabrication techniques and machining processes
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
