Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor machinery on the assembly line, ensuring optimal performance.
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand specifications and requirements for production.
- Utilize GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles to ensure accuracy in manufacturing processes.
- Conduct quality control checks using tools such as micrometers to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Perform basic programming tasks as needed for machine operation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to tooling and equipment malfunctions.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and increase efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in operating machinery on an assembly line.
- Familiarity with GD&T, quality control practices, and tooling is highly desirable.
- Proficient in blueprint reading to accurately follow specifications.
- Strong basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Experience using precision measuring tools such as micrometers.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while demonstrating initiative.
