Job Summary:
The Chemical Packager is responsible for safely and efficiently packaging chemicals into appropriate containers, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and preparing products for distribution. This role requires attention to detail, a strong understanding of safety procedures, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately measure and package chemicals into the correct containers.
• Label containers with required product information and safety warnings.
• Ensure that all packaged products meet quality and safety standards.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs to management.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the packaging area.
• Follow all safety guidelines and regulatory requirements when handling chemicals.
• Perform routine inspections and tests on equipment to ensure proper function.
• Assist in preparing shipments for delivery and completing necessary paperwork.
• Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to supervisors.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in packaging, manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
• Basic knowledge of chemical safety and handling procedures.
• Ability to read and follow detailed instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
• Physical ability to lift heavy containers and stand for extended periods.

Working Conditions:

• This position may require working in a production environment with exposure to chemicals and equipment.
• Personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided and must be worn at all times.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
