Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sanitation Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within our facility, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for food processing and production. This position requires a strong commitment to cleanliness and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed.
3rd shift - 10pm start time
$15-$18/hr
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning and sanitization of food processing areas, equipment, and utensils.
- Conduct custodial duties including sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations related to food production.
- Assist in the organization and maintenance of warehouse cleanliness.
- Fabricate cleaning solutions as necessary for specific sanitation tasks.
- Participate in routine inspections to identify areas needing attention or improvement.
- Collaborate with team members to uphold high standards of industrial cleaning practices.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food processing or food production environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures and custodial practices is essential.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as required by the job.
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment and supplies is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining a clean workspace.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility in working hours, including potential shifts on weekends or holidays.
