Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Production Lead to oversee operations within our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production processes, mechanical knowledge, and experience with various hand and power tools. As a Production Lead, you will be responsible for coordinating the assembly line activities, ensuring quality standards are met, and leading a team of production associates to achieve operational goals.
Duties
- Supervise daily production activities and manage the workflow on the assembly line.
- Train and mentor new team members on proper use of hand tools and power tools.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed within the warehouse and factory environment.
- Collaborate with management to develop efficient production schedules and strategies.
- Monitor product quality throughout the manufacturing process and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Maintain equipment and machinery, performing routine inspections to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist in fabricating components as required, utilizing mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues.
- Operate forklifts and other machinery safely to transport materials within the facility.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a manufacturing facility or similar environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to assemble products using hand tools and power tools.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and assembly line processes is preferred.
- Ability to lead a team effectively while promoting a positive work environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Must be able to lift heavy objects as needed during production tasks.
- Forklift certification is a plus but not mandatory; training can be provided.
