Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team and ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and experience in quality control processes. You will play a crucial role in identifying defects, conducting inspections, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspection & Testing:
- Perform visual and measurement inspections of incoming materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
- Conduct functional, performance, and safety tests on products as needed.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation, including non-conformance reports and quality assurance metrics.
- Prepare and present inspection reports to management, highlighting trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with production and engineering teams to identify quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Provide training and support to team members on quality standards and inspection techniques.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action processes for identified defects.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives.
- Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies related to quality control.
- Stay updated on quality assurance best practices and industry trends.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO) preferred.
- Minimum of [1 year] experience in quality inspection or quality assurance in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong understanding of quality control processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Proficient in using measuring instruments (calipers, gauges, etc.) and quality inspection software.
