Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Quality Technician to join our team. The Quality Technician will contribute to maintaining compliance with ISO 9001 standards and support continuous improvement initiatives within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Conduct quality inspections using vision inspection systems and coordinate measuring machines to assess product specifications.
- Perform thorough quality audits to ensure adherence to established standards and identify areas for improvement.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments, including micrometers, to accurately measure components and assemblies.
- Analyze inspection data and prepare detailed reports on findings, trends, and recommendations for corrective actions.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues and implement effective solutions.
- Maintain documentation related to quality control processes, including inspection records and audit reports.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures in alignment with ISO 9001 standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in quality control or quality inspection roles within a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with vision inspection systems and coordinate measuring machines is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions based on findings.
- Proficient in using Calypso software for measurement analysis is a plus.
- Knowledge of precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges is essential.
- Understanding of ISO 9001 standards and experience conducting quality audits is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
