Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Tool Room Apprentice to join our team. This position offers hands-on experience in a manufacturing/tooling environment, where you will assist in the maintenance, repair, and production of tools, dies, and fixtures. Under the guidance of experienced toolmakers, you will develop essential skills for a career in precision machining and toolmaking.
This position will train on 1st shift 7am-3pm and then transfer to 2nd shift 3pm - 11pm!
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in manufacturing, repairing, and maintaining tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures.
- Operate and maintain lathes, mills, grinders, and other machining equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Perform measurements using calipers, micrometers, and other precision instruments.
- Ensure tools and equipment are kept in proper working condition.
- Follow safety guidelines and company procedures at all times.
- Work closely with senior toolmakers and machinists to develop technical skills.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical or vocational training preferred).
- Basic knowledge of machining, metalworking, or mechanical concepts.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Willingness to learn and work in a hands-on environment.
- Good problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented setting.

Pay: $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
