Warehouse Inventory Coordinator

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse by handling various tasks related to inventory management, materials handling, and equipment operation. This position requires physical stamina and a strong attention to detail to maintain the high standards of our warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform heavy lifting and moving of packages and materials throughout the warehouse.
• Operate pallet jacks and forklifts safely and efficiently to transport goods.
• Assist in inventory control by accurately tracking stock levels and reporting discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and address any operational issues.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues.
• Participate in loading and unloading shipments, ensuring that all items are handled with care.

Experience

• Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with materials handling techniques and inventory management systems is a plus.
• Mechanical knowledge is beneficial for troubleshooting equipment as needed.
• Experience operating forklifts or other warehouse machinery is highly valued.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
