Warehouse Worker

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our warehouse, ensuring that products are received, stored, and shipped accurately and on time. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Fabricate and build products as needed for shipping or inventory purposes.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as cranes and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
• Manage inventory by conducting regular stock checks and maintaining accurate records using AS400 or similar systems.
• Handle shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring all incoming and outgoing shipments are processed correctly.
• Perform heavy lifting as required, adhering to safety protocols to prevent injuries.
• Utilize order pickers for efficient picking and packing of orders based on customer requests.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency within the warehouse.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems, particularly AS400, is a plus.
• Ability to operate cranes, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery safely.
• Strong physical condition with the capability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds).
• Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure while meeting deadlines.
• A team player who can communicate effectively with colleagues across various departments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
