Role Overview : The Medical Receptionist is the first point of contact for patients and visitors at Elemental Care. - Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a warm and professional manner
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring optimal use of clinic resources.
- Answer and direct phone calls, addressing inquiries or directing them to the appropriate department.
- Verify patient insurance information and process necessary documentation.
- Collect and process patient payments, co-pays, and fees.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and data entry.
- Ensure patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Understand limits of responsibility by not providing medical advice to patients.
