Position Summary :
We are seeking motivated and reliable students to assist with custodial activities and building cleaning and organization during the summer months. This position provides valuable experience in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment while supporting the custodial team in preparing facilities for the upcoming school year.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist in general cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, classrooms, offices, and other common areas as needed.
- Organize and maintain storage areas, ensuring supplies are neatly stored and accessible.
- Support light maintenance tasks, such as moving furniture, setting up rooms, and minor repairs.
- Collect and dispose of trash and recycling from various areas of the building.
- Work with custodial staff to perform deep cleaning projects, such as waxing floors or washing windows.
- Follow safety protocols and use cleaning equipment and products properly.
- Assist in inventory management by stocking cleaning supplies and reporting shortages.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the custodial team and facility operations.
