Job description
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Worker to join our team. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for maintaining inventory control, receiving delivered goods daily, stockroom organization, and providing excellent customer service. This is a physically demanding role that requires ability to use stairs many times daily and some heavy lifting at times.
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling of products
- Maintain accurate inventory and perform regular stock checks
- Organize warehouse space and ensure efficient storage of products
- Pick merchandise for clients accurately and efficiently
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes
- Operate carts and pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely and effectively
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with clients or customers
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment preferred
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks for extended periods of time
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Basic computer skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
