We are seeking an experienced Technical Sales Specialist to join our team at Glenn Metalcraft Inc. The mission of the Technical Sales Specialist is to identify and secure new business opportunities, with a strong emphasis on expanding into new markets and diversifying our customer base. The ideal candidate will be a skilled prospector and a qualified sales professional with a proven track record of successful lead generation and conversion. The role requires proficiency in CRM systems and exceptional relationship-building skills to effectively manage and grow our sales pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct extensive market research to identify potential business opportunities and target markets for expansion.
- Actively prospect and generate new leads through various channels including cold calling, networking, and other outreach strategies.
- Qualify leads and opportunities to ensure alignment with company objectives and target customer profiles.
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients, continuously nurturing leads through various stages of the sales cycle.
- Cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders to effectively position our offerings and secure new business deals.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategies for expanding look-alike accounts and increasing brand visibility in new markets.
- Utilize CRM software to manage customer interactions, track sales activities, and maintain accurate records of all leads and opportunities.
- Regularly update sales forecasts and provide detailed reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
- Keep abreast of industry developments, market trends, and competitive positioning to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of market challenges.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in business development or sales role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Demonstrated success in prospecting, lead generation, and new business acquisition.
- Strong proficiency in CRM systems and other sales management software.
- Willingness to travel and work in a target-driven environment.

The expected base pay range for this position is between $55,000 and $60,000 per annual, with sales commission opportunity. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including geographical location, education, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
