Scope of Your Role:
- Drive leadership and accountability across the Quality Assurance Department, inspiring your team of technicians and inspectors.
- Enhance and evolve our Quality Management System, entrenched in ISO 9001 standards and reflective of customer and regulatory demands.
- Design and implement comprehensive quality strategies, ensuring they align seamlessly with our key performance indicators and business goals.
- Execute impeccable internal and external audit programs to validate QMS effectiveness, serving as the beacon of quality assurance excellence.
- Oversee supplier quality compliance through meticulous report and inspection oversight.
- Manage the thorough inspection and testing of tools, guaranteeing unwavering adhesion to our quality benchmarks.
- Ensure that our quality planning envelops detailed inspection records, driving home zero-defect objectives.
- Champion the resolution of quality challenges, leading root cause analysis and corrective actions with determination and expertise.
- Budget wisely for the Quality Department, epitomizing resource efficiency in quality-oriented projects.
Qualifications & Experience:
- A 4-year degree in a relevant field, with a focus on Quality Management, is preferred.
- A tenure of at least 10 years in quality management, bringing forth a wealth of expertise.
Your Skills and Know-How:
- MS Office proficiency and the ability to navigate manufacturing software are essential.
- Training in ISO principles and root cause analysis are non-negotiable essentials.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing a robust metrology and calibration system.
- Hands-on experience with CMM equipment such as FARO machines is highly advantageous.
- Comprehensive understanding of PFMEA and control planning methodologies.
- A record of successful project management and team leadership in quality improvement projects.
- Savvy with SPC methods, including defect analysis and GD&T.
What You Bring Physically:
- Regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
- Stand for extended periods in varying temperature environments.
- Possess excellent manual dexterity and coordination.
- Comfortably operate power tools and wear protective gear consistently.
