Position Overview
Remote position with occasional travel (up to 20%).

Elenco is currently seeking a Channel Sales Manager – Education to drive growth and expand partnerships across various key sectors, including Distributors, Catalogers, Non-Profit K-12 Foundations, Supplemental Learning, Teacher Donation Sites, Public Libraries, and Museums in the US and Canada. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in STEM Education, particularly in working with Distributors, and developing long-term strategic account relationships. Reporting directly to the VP of Sales, this newly created position will be remote based. Elenco Electronics is located in Wheeling, IL.
Major Responsibilities
• Achieve annual revenue and profit targets for assigned Education channels while adhering to budget guidelines
• Collaboratively set revenue goals and develop a comprehensive sales plan, focusing on innovation, custom packs, and high-volume opportunities
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with major channel partners across Education sectors, including Distributors, Catalogers, Non-Profit K-12 Foundations, Teacher Donation Sites, Public Libraries, and Museums to maximize sales
• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities, secure high-level meetings, and consistently drive profitable sales growth by closing deals
• Monitor industry trends, sales performance, account data, and competitive activity to generate monthly sales reports and forecast updates
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Customer Marketing, Operations, and Finance to ensure the successful execution of plans and commitments to accounts
• Represent Elenco at industry events to build relationships, showcase products, and generate new business opportunities
• Leverage CRM and sales enablement tools to track productivity, manage the sales pipeline, and engage with prospects effectively
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, Technology or related field
• Proven experience selling STEM products through Distributor and Catalog channels
• Familiarity with educational standards and curriculum frameworks is a plus
• Proven ability to build and maintain strategic relationships with key decision makers
• Experience with NetSuite and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Office, etc.)
