Job Summary
**Per Diem position/ part time**
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in positive behavior supports and/or applied behavior analysis and experience working with adults with developmental disabilities, including but not limited to autism spectrum disorder. This role involves monitoring behavior support plans already in place, providing assistance to staff implementing plans when needed, and graphing and analyzing data from site locations, alongside the team behaviorist and BCBA.
This job requires our behavioral consultant to travel to various site locations (PREDOMINANTLY PASSAIC COUNTY & BERGEN COUNTY) one to two times a month per individual and can vary from day programs and residential settings. Additionally, this job requires our behavioral consultant to utilize remote hours to: graph data, meet with behaviorist and/or BCBA to analyze data, and occasionally attend virtual IDT meetings.

Duties
- Provide continued support to staff and/or caregivers implementing behavior support plans as needed (i.e., monitor their progress and provide any in-person feedback or assistance on a need to need basis)
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and adhere to medical terminology standards.
- Collaborate with caregivers, staff, and other professionals on the IDT team to ensure support for clients.
- Collect data sheets at site locations and graph data using online data collection system (catalyst)
- Assist in analyzing data alongside beheaviorist and BCBA.
- Monitor individual's progress and assist behaviorist and BCBA in adjusting behavior support plans as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
Experience
- Proven experience working with adults and/or children, particularly those with autism or other developmental disorders.
- Strong understanding of positive behavior supports and/or behavioral health principles and practices (applied behavior analysis)
- Experience with online data collection systems (catalyst) is desirable. Willingness to learn and utilize this platform is expected as part of the job requirement.
- Familiarity with staff training or providing support to staff and/or families
- Experience in special education settings is highly desirable.
- Previous involvement in behavioral therapy practices is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in applied behavior analysis, psychology, special education, social work, public health, or a similar degree is preferred but not required.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must cooperate with Eleos Family Services and Department of Human Services staff in any inspection, inquiry or investigation.
- Must consent to and pass State/Federal Criminal Background and Central Registry checks
- Division-approved mandated training
- Valid driver’s license (not to exceed 5 points)

- Hybrid - remote and at the Individual's Residence and/or Day program
