What are the responsibilities and job description for the Car Wash Lot Attendant - Bonney Lake position at Elephant Car Wash?
Job Purpose:
Touchless Automatic Attendants are the public face of the company for most of our customers, and play a critical role in customer service and site performance. Therefore, the purpose of the lot attendant is to keep the site in working order, maintain cleanliness, and provide a positive car wash experience for all of our customers.
Entry-level applicants are encouraged to apply; on-the-job training is provided.
Duties Include (but not limited to):
· Addressing customer questions and concerns with a helpful and positive attitude, focused on providing a great car washing experience for everyone who patronizes Elephant Car Wash.
· Maintaining operations of the car wash systems, including: maintaining chemical levels and taking inventories, inspecting equipment and machines, and performing preventative maintenance as needed.
· Creating a clean and inviting atmosphere by: keeping surfaces free of dirt, debris, and graffiti; picking up garbage and emptying garbage cans; blowing and spraying down the lot and car wash bays; wiping down all surfaces, and replacing worn-out or missing wash supplies and tools.
· Keeping backrooms well-organized and in good working order as established by company protocols.
· Communicating any ongoing or potential issues concerning operational maintenance of the facility.
Qualifications:
- Relational and customer-service oriented
- Demonstrated ability to self-manage and work independently
- Teachable, with an aptitude to take on additional responsibility as requested
- Willingness to work hard and do what it takes to get the job done
- Reliable transportation with a valid Driver’s License
- Reliable cell phone for texts, phone calls, and photo taking
Preferred Candidates Will Possess the Following:
- 1-2 years of customer service experience
- A flexible attitude and a willingness to adjust to changing responsibilities
Physical Requirements:
Lot Attendants work in a wet environment and are constantly on their feet; they will receive deliveries, move containers, put away supplies, and clean all surfaces. They must be able to bend, kneel, lift up to 40lbs, climb ladders, and work outside in inclement weather, year-round. Lot Attendants must be 18 years of age or older per WA State L&I due to the hazardous chemicals on site; strict adherence to company policies, procedures and guidelines must be followed, including wearing appropriate PPE (personal protective equipment) as required.
