What are the responsibilities and job description for the Car Wash Lot Attendant - Covington position at Elephant Car Wash?
Two shifts available:
Sunday and Monday 9am-5pm (16 hours) or Tuesday-Saturday 3:30pm-6pm (12.50 hours)
Job Purpose:
As a Lot Attendant at a Touchless Automatic location, you will not be washing cars yourself, but will be responsible for maintaining the lot, ensuring the automatic wash machines are in good working order, and assisting customers as needed. These touchless automatic systems allow customers to wash their own vehicles with our machines, so your role is crucial in keeping the site clean, functional, and ensuring a smooth, positive experience for every customer.
Entry-level applicants are encouraged to apply; on-the-job training is provided.
Duties Include (but not limited to):
· Addressing customer questions and concerns with a helpful and positive attitude, focused on providing a great car washing experience for everyone who patronizes Elephant Car Wash.
· Maintaining operations of the car wash systems, including: maintaining chemical levels and taking inventories, inspecting equipment and machines, and performing preventative maintenance as needed.
· Creating a clean and inviting atmosphere by: keeping surfaces free of dirt, debris, and graffiti; picking up garbage and emptying garbage cans; blowing and spraying down the lot and car wash bays; wiping down all surfaces, and replacing worn-out or missing wash supplies and tools.
· Keeping backrooms well-organized and in good working order as established by company protocols.
· Communicating any ongoing or potential issues concerning operational maintenance of the facility.
·Document and report maintenance issues, inspections, and completed tasks using the appropriate systems

- Willingness to work hard and do what it takes to get the job done
- Reliable cell phone for timesheet, texts, phone calls, and photo taking
Preferred Candidates Will Possess the Following:
- 1-2 years of customer service experience
- A flexible attitude and a willingness to adjust to changing responsibilities
- Ability to self-manage and a willingness to work evenings in the dark
- Comfortable handling difficult situations with trespassers (Security detail experience a plus)
Physical Requirements:
Lot Attendants are on their feet constantly, will receive deliveries, move containers, put away supplies, and clean all surfaces. Must be able to bend, kneel, lift up to 50lbs, climb ladders, and work outside in inclement weather, year-round, in a wet environment.
