Shift Leader (South Meridian Elephant Car Wash)

Days needed:

Saturday thru Wednesday. Opening shift: 7:30am to 3:30pm and Closing shift: 11:30am to 7:30pm. Schedule is subject to change as the role of Shift Lead is to provide reliable coverage for the Manager and Assistant on their days off or any other absence.

Job Purpose:

Supporting the Site Manager and Assistant Manager in running the day-to-day operations of the car wash.

Duties Include:

• Assisting customers at paystation kiosks, or back-office sales
• Leading a crew of car wash attendants
• Ensuring high levels of customer service
• Directing cars through the car wash in an efficient and safe manner
• Ensure all safety procedures are followed
• Maintain chemical and supply inventory levels
• Opening/ closing facility
• Oversee productivity and quality, and ensure a positive wash experience for all customers

Qualifications:

• High School or equivalent education level
• Stable work history
• Be a team player

• Knowledge of Windows-based computer systems
• Ability to work independently when required

Physical Requirements:

The Shift Lead is responsible for receiving deliveries, putting away supplies and handling containers of chemical. Must be able to be on his/ her feet for several hours, lift up 50lbs, and work outside in inclement weather year-round. Must be capable of lifting, bending, kneeling, and climbing.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
