The Packaging Supervisor oversees all aspects of the packaging process, ensuring our beer is packaged efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires a hands-on leader with strong technical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for continuous improvement. This position is also responsible for maintaining the warehouse at our production facility in Royal Oak, including managing inventory efficiency working closely with the Head Brewer and Sales.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee the daily operations of the packaging line, including canning and kegging processes. Monitor production schedules to ensure timely fulfillment.
- Ensure all packaged products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements, conducting regular inspections and maintaining detailed records.
- Coordinate routine maintenance and troubleshooting of packaging equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance. Develop and maintain a preventive maintenance schedule and manage relationships with vendors.
- Monitor packaging materials inventory, placing orders as needed to maintain adequate supplies without overstocking. Maintain finished goods inventory.
- Work closely with the Head Brewer to coordinate production schedules, address issues, and meet customer expectations. Participate in sprint meetings and contribute to strategic planning.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
- Ensure all packaging operations comply with safety standards, environmental regulations, and company policies.
- Coordinating and maintaining inventory levels for remote locations.
