We are looking for a proactive Facilities Manager who is looking to grow a career with Elephants Delicatessen.
The Facilities Manager works closely with various departments within Elephants to manage the safety and security protocols of our facilities and team members. Additionally, they supervise the maintenance team to ensure the completion of daily tasks, upkeep of Elephant's equipment and buildings. The Facilities Manager will oversee contracts with outside vendors as well as sourcing and purchasing equipment and supplies.
It is paramount that this person is great with follow-through and communication to effectively work within our diverse population of internal and external stakeholders to meet operations goals. This employee will also serve as a member of Elephants’ Executive and Safety Teams.
The Ideal Candidate will:
- Have a strong and resilient work ethic and feel comfortable leading a team
- Have critical thinking skills and knowledge in facility maintenance work
- Be able to treat colleagues, customers, and vendors with respect
Other requirements:
- 10 years of Facilities Management experience or
- AA or BA in business management, manufacturing, or a leadership related field
- Basic knowledge of food service items and terminology
- Experience maintaining confidential information
- Proficient computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office
