Game Room Attendant

Job Summary:

The Game Room Attendant at Elev8 Fun is responsible for ensuring a fun, safe, and enjoyable experience for all guests in the game room area. This role involves maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of arcade games and attractions, assisting guests with game-related issues, and providing excellent customer service.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Greets and assists guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Provides information and instructions on how to play games and use attractions.
• Handles guest inquiries, issues, and complaints promptly and effectively, ensuring a positive guest experience.
• Regularly inspects and maintains arcade games, attractions, and equipment to ensure they are in proper working condition.
• Performs minor repairs and troubleshoot technical issues with games and attractions.
• Reports any major malfunctions or safety hazards to the maintenance team or supervisor.
• Ensures the game room area is clean, organized, and free of debris at all times.
• Regularly sanitizes game surfaces, controls, and high-touch areas to maintain a hygienic environment.
• Restocks prize redemption areas and ensures they are neat and well-presented.
• Monitors the game room area to ensure all guests are following safety guidelines and rules.
• Assists in enforcing company policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff.
• Conducts routine safety checks and reports any safety concerns to the supervisor.
• Encourages guest participation in games and attractions, promoting a fun and energetic atmosphere.
• Assists with the organization and execution of game-related events, tournaments, and promotions.
• Provides guidance and support to guests redeeming prizes, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot arcade or gaming machines and equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and processing payments.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a customer-facing role or entertainment environment is a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, and move around the game room for extended periods.
• Capable of lifting light to moderate objects (up to 25 pounds).
• Manual dexterity to operate gaming machines and handle cash or tickets.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
