A Guest Services Team Member at Elev8 Fun is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable experience for all guests. Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Greets and welcomes guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Assists guests with ticket purchases, membership inquiries, and general information about Elev8 Fun's attractions and services.
- Handles guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and effectively, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Provides accurate information about attraction rules, safety guidelines, and operational hours.
- Operates and monitors various attractions, ensuring they run smoothly and safely.
- Conducts pre-opening checks to ensure all attractions are in proper working order.
- Ensures guests adhere to safety rules and guidelines while using attractions.
- Assists with loading and unloading guests from attractions, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience.
- Processes ticket sales, memberships, and other transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system.
- Promotes and upsells attractions, memberships, and special promotions to enhance the guest experience and drive sales.
- Handles cash, credit card, and other payment transactions securely and in compliance with company policies.
- Maintains cleanliness and orderliness of the guest services area and attractions.
- Reports any maintenance issues or safety concerns to the appropriate department promptly.
- Ensures all equipment and supplies are stocked and ready for use.
- Works collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth operations and a positive work environment.
- Assists in training new team members and sharing best practices.
- Participates in team meetings and contributes ideas for improving guest experiences and operational efficiency.
- Adheres to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure the well-being of guests and staff.
- Participates in regular safety training and drills.
- Maintains a thorough understanding of emergency procedures and be prepared to act accordingly.
- Assists with the setup and execution of special events, parties, and group activities.
- Provides support to guests during events, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse groups of guests.

- Ability to multitask and handle a variety of guest needs simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of the venue’s programming, events, and entertainment offerings, as well as general knowledge of art, culture, or recreation.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle guest concerns or issues in a calm, positive, and professional manner.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in dynamic, high-energy environments.
- Basic cash handling and point-of-sale system experience.
- Flexibility with working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, depending on the venue’s event schedule.
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in guest services or customer-facing roles is preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and move around for extended periods.
- Ability to lift or carry light to moderate items (up to 25 pounds), such as promotional materials or equipment.
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions (for outdoor events or venues).
- Ability to manage busy or crowded environments during peak times.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
