Job Summary:
The Party Host at Elev8 Fun is responsible for creating a fun and memorable experience for guests during parties and events. The Party Host ensures that all party activities run smoothly, guests are engaged, and that the event exceeds expectations. This role requires excellent customer service skills, a friendly and energetic personality, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
This position starts at a base hourly rate of $10 plus commission.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Prepares party rooms and areas before the event, ensuring cleanliness, proper setup, and availability of necessary supplies and decorations.
- Greets guests as they arrive and provides a warm and friendly welcome.
- Leads party activities and games, engaging guests and ensuring everyone is having a great time.
- Coordinates with other team members to serve food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner.
- Manages the schedule of the party, ensuring all activities, including cake cutting, presents, and any special requests, are executed smoothly.
- Provides exceptional customer service to party guests, addressing any questions or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Ensures the satisfaction of the party host (e.g., parents or organizers) by providing updates and accommodating special requests when possible.
- Handles any issues or emergencies that arise during the event with composure and efficiency.
- Assists with the cleanup of party rooms and areas after the event, ensuring they are ready for the next party or event.
- Gathers feedback from party hosts and guests to continuously improve the party experience.
- Ensures all safety guidelines and protocols are followed during parties and events.
- Monitors guest behavior and intervenes if necessary to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all attendees.
- Works closely with other staff members to ensure seamless coordination and execution of events.
- Communicates effectively with team members and management regarding any issues or improvements needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with guests and make them feel comfortable.
- Friendly, energetic, and outgoing personality with a passion for creating fun experiences.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
- Ability to work well within a team and take initiative when necessary.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to unexpected situations or changes in the event schedule.
- Knowledge of party planning or event coordination is an asset.
- Basic knowledge of event planning and customer service best practices.
Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Any formal education or certifications in hospitality, event management, or customer service is a plus.
- Previous experience as a party host, event coordinator, or customer service role is preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
- Physical stamina to engage in activities and games, which may include lifting party materials or equipment (e.g., decorations, supplies).
- Ability to move quickly and manage a fast-paced environment during events.
- Must be comfortable working in various weather conditions for outdoor events.
- May need to assist in carrying or moving light objects (e.g., chairs, party games, etc.).
