Claims Rep I (Health & Dental) (contract)

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Learning the activities/tasks associated with his/her role.
• Works under direct supervision. Relies on others for instruction, guidance, and direction.
• Work is reviewed for technical accuracy and soundness.
• Codes and processes claims forms for payment ensuring all information is supplied before eligible payments are made.
• Researches and analyzes claims issues.
• Keying, processing and adjusting healthcare claims in accordance with policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Requires HS diploma or equivalent; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
• Good oral and written communication skills, previous experience using PC, database system, and related software (word processing, spreadsheets, etc.) strongly preferred.

Additional Details:

• Possible Temp To Hire;
• Core business hours: 6 AM EST- 8:00 PM EST - 8 hour shift within the core business hours (Flexible starting times up to 9:30am)
• The structured training schedule to be determined - may be an 8:00AM-5:00PM until completion of training.
• This is a remote position, but you must be located 50 miles from an Elevance Health PulsePoint location.
