Locations : Alternate locations may be considered. This position will work in a hybrid model (remote and office). The ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of one of our Elevance Health Pulse Point locations.

The Program Director is responsible for the development and ongoing management of one or more external client facing programs that are multi-state, multi-function and multi-year in scope. Program directors typically support business strategies through an integrated portfolio of external client facing programs, projects and initiatives.

How you will make an impact :

• Directs the development, planning, prioritization, approval, implementation and compliance of on-going external client facing programs.
• Establishes program governance to assure response to issue escalation; develops program budget and ensures program meets its stated objectives.
• Develops documentation to support meeting presentations and the tracking and reporting of the programs success.
• Provides leadership to program managers and project managers. Typically reports to an executive.
• Responsible for overall program management- manages and controls project scope, resources, risks & escalations, quality, and cost to deliver program according to plan; develops training plans; develops business requirements documents.
• Works with business and technical teams to develop end-to-end project plans including but not limited to : requirements gathering & development, testing, training plans, implementation, and post-implementation plans.
• Responsible for applying program management knowledge, skills, tools and techniques to project deliverables, documents, processes, and systems.
