Responsible for leveraging a project management approach to support the training sub-team/work stream of a strategic implementation through the application of adult learning theories and the creation of a training strategy. Supports all phases of the project through warranty.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Collaborates with learning leaders, business partners and the greater project team to implement projects that support business unit or corporate goals.
- Works with minimal guidance while applying both project management and adult learning knowledge, theories, skills, tools and techniques to ensure the learning and development intervention is identified and deliverables are met.
- Manages medium to large complex sized projects, markets or initiatives, may support work streams of a greater program or portfolio of work.
- Partners with learning leaders and business partners to define scope, secure required L & D resources and business SMEs, develop a communication management plan, define L & D project sub-team roles and responsibilities, training strategy, training project/work plan and schedule.
- Monitors and controls project including the maintenance of accurate project documentation and ensures any changes to scope are documented and approved, including scope changes that may impact L & D project budget.
- Consults with the L & D leadership, L & D shared services organization, and the business unit management to ensure the most appropriate learning intervention is identified to close the performance gap caused by the implementation.
Requirements:
- Requires BA/BS in business, education, instructional design or related field, and a
- Minimum of 5 years of experience which includes a minimum of 3 years project management experience; or any combination of education and experience which will provide an equivalent background.
- PMP preferred.
- Insurance background preferred

- Work Schedule: Monday-Friday (8:00am- 5:00pm) Core hours in candidates time zone,
- Candidates must reside within 50 miles or 1-hour commute each way of a relevant Elevance Health Pulse Point location.
Elevance Health operates in a Hybrid Workforce Strategy. Unless specified as primarily virtual by the hiring manager, contractors are required to work at an Elevance Health location at least once per week, and potentially several times per week. Specific requirements and expectations for time onsite will be discussed as part of the hiring process. Candidates must reside within 50 miles or 1-hour commute each way of a relevant Elevance Health location.
