Job Summary : We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Regional Business Office Manager to oversee the financial and administrative operations of multiple nursing home facilities within the region. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the efficient management of billing, collections, resident trust funds, and financial reporting, while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
Key Responsibilities :
Financial Management : Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll processes across assigned nursing homes.
Billing & Collections : Ensure timely and accurate billing to Medicaid, Medicare, private payers, and insurance companies. Monitor collections and reduce outstanding balances.
Resident Trust Funds : Manage and audit resident trust accounts to maintain compliance with all applicable regulations.
Compliance : Ensure all financial practices adhere to state, federal, and company guidelines.
Reporting : Prepare and analyze financial reports, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
Training & Support : Train and mentor Business Office Managers at individual facilities, ensuring consistency in processes and best practices.
Audits : Conduct internal audits of business office operations, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
Collaboration : Work closely with Administrators, HR, and other departments to support overall facility operations.
Qualifications :
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Office Manager, preferably in a nursing home or healthcare setting.
Strong knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, and third-party billing processes.
Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to travel within the region as needed.
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience managing multiple facilities or a regional role.
Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
