- Assisting the Director of Life Enrichment in planning and implementing a variety of recreational programs and activities.
- Engaging with residents on a one-on-one basis to provide companionship and support.
- Setting up and organizing activity spaces, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment.
- Encouraging resident participation in activities and promoting a sense of community.
- Documenting resident participation and feedback to aid in program improvement.
- Collaborating with the activities team to brainstorm and implement new and exciting ideas.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a similar role or a genuine interest in working with seniors.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Creativity and enthusiasm for developing and leading engaging activities.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the varying needs and preferences of residents.
