Clinical Research Recruiter Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Recruitment: Identify, contact, and recruit potential participants for clinical trials across multiple therapeutic areas.
- Protocol Review: Review and interpret clinical protocols to assess patient eligibility and identify potential candidates for screening.
- Pre-Screening: Conduct structured interviews and pre-screening questionnaires to evaluate potential participants’ alignment with protocol criteria.
- Database Management: Use CTMS and CRM tools to manage leads, track recruitment activities, and maintain accurate, up-to-date patient information.
- Collaboration: Partner with the clinical team, Principal Investigators (PIs), and study sponsors to align recruitment strategies with study objectives.
- Documentation: Ensure regulatory compliance by accurately documenting recruitment efforts, pre-screening outcomes, and participant communications.
- Metrics Reporting: Monitor recruitment metrics and provide regular updates to the clinical operations team.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 3-5 years of clinical research recruitment experience, preferably across multiple therapeutic areas.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with CTMS and CRM tools is preferred.
- Protocol Knowledge: Ability to interpret and evaluate clinical protocols to identify eligible candidates.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills for participant engagement and team collaboration.
- Organizational Skills: Detail-oriented with excellent time management and prioritization abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Compliance: Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP), HIPAA guidelines, and regulatory requirements in clinical research.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in a clinical research site setting.
- Familiarity with CTMS and/or CRM platforms.
- Expertise in patient recruitment strategies for specific therapeutic areas (e.g., NASH, T2D, cardiology).
- Demonstrated success in meeting recruitment goals under tight timelines.
- Bilingual candidates are highly desirable.
