What are the responsibilities and job description for the Individualized Curriculum Tutor position at Elevate Educational Services Inc.?
General Tutors must be able to assist with all academic subjects: Math, Science, History, Reading, & Writing. General Tutors must be able to work with students in grades K - 6th.
Tutors will work with groups of 4 students or less. If needed, tutors may work with student(s) at an accelerated pace to prepare them for upcoming lessons. Tutors will be provided with textbooks or materials to create and provide personalized instruction for each student.
Tutors must be available for in-person instruction between 2:00-8:00pm Monday - Friday!

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized tutoring plans tailored to each student's needs.
- Utilize various teaching methods and learning technologies to enhance student engagement and understanding.
- Manage classroom dynamics effectively to create a positive learning environment.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
- Collaborate with parents and educators to address any learning challenges and celebrate achievements.
Qualifications
- Strong tutoring and teaching skills
- Experience in curriculum development and learning technology
- Proficient in classroom management and working with diverse student populations
- Background in early childhood education and preschool experience
- Familiarity with special education practices and adult education
- Proven ability to engage and support students in their learning journey
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
