Intern, Marketing

The Marketing Intern works on marketing materials, reporting, and writing tasks supporting Elevate’s mission. The Marketing Intern supports the marketing plans for Elevate’s programs that ensure more people can access clean energy and water. The Marketing Intern should be strongly interested in learning about marketing strategy, tactics, and trends. The Intern works closely with members of the Marketing team and other Elevate staff to support marketing projects.

The Marketing Intern reports to the Director, Marketing. The position is in Chicago, Illinois, and is hybrid or remote.

Responsibilities

• Write and edit marketing and communications materials and reports.
• Work with the marketing team to coordinate the production of print and digital materials such as emails, webpages, flyers, and event materials.
• Analyze data to evaluate marketing campaign effectiveness (i.e., email and social media) and report data to marketing and program teams.
• Support other marketing projects as assigned.

Terms of Service

Internships at Elevate are paid positions for current college or graduate students or recent college graduates. The usual time commitment is for twelve weeks, 40 hours/week, but there is some flexibility with this internship. The Marketing Intern is paid $20/hour.

If interns are handling confidential data, they will be asked to comply with security policies, as required.
