Job Summary:
Elevate Eyecare is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Chain Traveling Specialist. This role is essential to ensuring appropriate due diligence, inventory consistency and product flow efficiency during acquisitions. Additionally, this role will contribute to evaluating inventory status and identifying necessary supply chain improvements. The specialist will be responsible for assessing and refreshing frame boards, processing inventory adjustments, and handling administrative order tasks related to supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Travel (approximately 60%) to new acquisitions to assess and improve frame inventory efficiencies.
- Conduct due diligence assessments for acquisitions, evaluating inventory status and identifying areas for improvement.
- Remove outdated frames, inventory current stock, and set up new frame products to align with company standards.
- Process inventory adjustments and manage administrative order tasks to maintain supply chain efficiency.
- Optimize product flow within clinics to enhance accessibility and efficiency.
- Maintain and update accurate inventory records within the inventory management system.
- Assist with general inventory management tasks, including stock audits and replenishment as required.
- Provide recommendations on best practices for frame board management.
- Work closely with supply chain and operational leadership to ensure consistency across locations.
- Identify and resolve any inventory-related issues promptly to minimize disruptions.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in supply chain management or a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in inventory management, supply chain operations, optical operations, or retail product management.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to travel frequently across multiple states (approximately 60%) and work flexible hours.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clinic staff and leadership.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Experience with AcuityLogic practice management software is a plus.
- Ability to lift and move inventory as required.
Salary : $52,000 - $55,000
