We are seeking a seasoned, highly motivated and intellectually curious DataStage Developer to join our team working with a Federal client. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ETL with IBM Infosphere Datastage, specifically v11.7, NextGen Anywhere, QualityStage, and will be proficient in DataStage installations on AWS as well as AWS RDS (Postgres and Oracle).
The position will be a remote role open to US citizens residing in the United States with an ACTIVE SECRET security clearance.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop and optimize DataStage ETL jobs.
- Investigate, cleanse and manage data with QualityStage.
- Deliver DataStage solutions with DataStage Anywhere.
- Work with DataStage installations on AWS.
- Manage cloud data with AWS RDS (Postgres and Oracle).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable and secure solutions.
- Monitor and optimize ETL resources to ensure cost-effectiveness, performance, and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to DataStage.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices in cloud operations.
- Provide documentation, training, and support to internal teams and clients as needed.
- Stay current with the latest DataStage features, best practices, and industry trends.
- Work in a fast-paced Agile environment with fluid requirements and changing priorities.
- Respond to technical issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Work closely with customers to implement and / or consult requested solutions.
- Possess considerable logic and understanding to analyze and troubleshoot problems.
- Must be able to work independently with little to no daily supervision, is a team player, open to ideas and learning.
- Work in a distributed team environment where team members are spread across numerous locations and often communicate virtually to support clients.
