The Position
The Patient Care Coordinators at Elevate Health play a critical role in the successful care of our patients. From a patient’s first phone call to each future contact, our Patient Care Coordinators are there each step of the way to delight them with exceptional customer service. We believe that this element of patient experience at Elevate Health is just as important as the outstanding medical care they receive from our doctors.
In this role, you will be a guide for our patients, helping them navigate an often overwhelming medical world. We will empower you to have ownership of your place on the team.
You will serve as a liaison between patients and doctors, helping to coordinate the details surrounding patient care. Just as our doctors provide an individualized approach to treatment, you will also work to meet patients’ individual needs on the administrative side of the front office.
The Patient Care Coordinator position many include some limited clinical support tasks that are sometimes associated with Medical Assistant positions, such as inventorying medical supplies, filing lab reports, and organizing supplies for minor procedures.
Ideal Candidate
- A consummate people person, naturally able to provide warm, friendly, engaging, genuine interaction with patients at every turn
- Exceptionally detail-oriented, with the ability to organize and prioritize many tasks with ease and efficiency
- Able to work independently and take personal responsibility for following through on the tasks you are responsible for
- Willing and eager to learn a large volume of information quickly
- Ability to adapt quickly to a fast paced, high-energy (sometimes stressful) environment
- Committed to an extensive onboarding and training process with a desire to be with the company for many years
Required Experience
At least 1 year of medical or administrative experience in a clinical setting.
Schedule
Monday through Friday, regular business hours with some variation.
This is an in-person, on-site position.
