We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our dynamic team and help us uphold these values while delivering exceptional patient care.
Position Overview:
As a Medical Assistant at Elevate Health, you will work closely with our medical providers to support clinical and administrative operations. You will assist the provider with patient care and procedure set up, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and prepare patients for examinations, treatments, and consultations with a friendly, welcoming, and professional demeanor.
- Obtain and record vital signs, medical histories, and patient concerns, ensuring accuracy and accountability in documentation.
- Assist providers with in-office procedure set up, including hormone therapy, IV therapy, weight loss treatments, and aesthetic services.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming treatment environment that reflects our high standards of integrity and customer service.
- Disinfect treatment rooms, exam chairs, and medical equipment after each patient to ensure a safe and sanitary environment.
- Keep the office clean and well-maintained, including restocking supplies, wiping down surfaces, vacuuming, mopping, and following infection control protocols.
- Educate patients on pre and post-treatment care and wellness protocols, ensuring they receive valuable guidance and support.
- Schedule appointments, take payments, verify completion of intake forms, and manage patient records with professionalism and attention to detail.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, HIPAA privacy, and infection control protocols.
- Maintain accurate inventory of medical and office supplies and order supplies as needed.
- Continuously seek opportunities for growth, staying up-to-date on best practices in medical and wellness treatments.
Qualifications:
- Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
- Previous experience in a wellness, aesthetics, or medical weight loss practice is a plus, but is not required. We will train the right individual.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and EMR systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-focused approach that aligns with our commitment to customer service.
- Ability to multitask and take accountability in a fast-paced environment while maintaining organization and attention to detail.
- Must have a passion for health and wellness, with a willingness to learn and grow in the field.
- Social media skills are a bonus, but not required.
