Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance as needed.
- Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately.
- Process sales using the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently.
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, products, and services.
- Assist in stocking shelves and organizing merchandise on the sales floor.
- Ensure that the checkout area is clean, organized, and well-stocked.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues with professionalism.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and maintain a positive work environment.
- Price and check items.
- Help customers carry items to vehicle.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Previous experience in retail sales is preferred but not mandatory.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems is a plus.
- Ability to supervise junior staff when necessary.
- Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer calls or inquiries.
- Attention to detail in stock management and inventory control.
- A friendly demeanor with a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
- Weekends are required. Options to work Tuesday-Friday.
