EHC is currently looking for a Cash Applications/Accounts Payable Administrator for a client located in Houston, TX.
JOB ROLE: This is a hands-on and challenging role, working in a shared service environment, working closely with personnel at varying levels throughout the organization. The candidate must have the ability to prioritize and multi-task under a strict deadline-oriented environment. Candidate must have the ability to be detail-oriented, process large volumes of transactions daily, and effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Processes a large volume of Accounts Payables invoices
- PO Invoice Manual Matching
- Attention to detail with a high accuracy rate
- Timely response to calls and emails, internal and external
- Vendor statement reconciliation, research, and resolution of invoice issues
- Communicate with vendors and Operations to resolve payable issues
- High-volume data entry that includes processing, analyzing, and accurately applying all incoming payments for all customer accounts from various sources including: Posting Daily Deposits against invoices (checks, ACHs, and wires)
- Intercompany transactions: processing transactions to and from other ledgers
- Credit Cards: processing customer credit cards with sensitive information, and accurately applying to correct invoices.
- Identify and communicate discrepancies in payments received with department credit analysts.
- Work with Intercompany accountants and general accounting to ensure proper closeout of invoices.
- Communicate to sales and project management on the status of accounts and payments.
- Professional, able to work with Operations at all levels
- Organized, able to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Miscellaneous projects and monthly/yearly close tasks
- Administrative tasks (i.e., mail, copying, etc.)
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 1 to 3 years of experience in accounting/finance or related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
