Elevate Law Group, a Lake Oswego law firm is seeking a full-time office admin/team assistant to become part of our client-focused team. This is a great opportunity to join a fun and growing firm and develop a legal career.

This position will provide support to the rest of the team, and a significant portion of the work will flow through and be directed by legal assistants, paralegals, and the firm administrator. You’ll have exposure to our many practice areas including litigation, business, real estate, bankruptcy, and more.
Examples of Primary Responsibilities
• Morning tasks to open the office, i.e., empty dishwasher and tidy common areas.
• Monitor conference room calendar and welcome guests; prepare rooms for meetings and clean up afterward.
• Retrieve and sort mail, scan as directed by legal assistants.
• Monitor and stock office supplies, keep printers loaded with paper.
• Photocopying and/or scanning and assembly of documents.
• Enter data, draft form letters, perform basic research.
• Call courts to inquire about the status of filings.
• Assist with outgoing mail projects.
• At the end of the day, load and run dishwasher, clean counters and tables.
Examples of Secondary Responsibilities
The job of office admin/team assistant is a support position and is not limited to the duties listed above. This position will be asked to perform other clerical/office-oriented tasks requested by attorneys and/or office staff, and it is the intention to train this person to take on increasingly complex legal assistant-type tasks so they may serve as a backup to the legal assistants, and ultimately grow into a legal assistant/paralegal.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have at least 1 year of entry-level experience in a professional services office, such as accounting, medical, marketing or legal, and have undertaken tasks such as document scanning, general use of office equipment and light reception.
- Be technologically savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Pro DC programs, and ready to learn more. Experience in a Windows environment needed.
- Have the skills to assist with the firm’s digital marketing efforts.
This is a Full-time job with the anticipation of 37.5-40 hours per week. The exact start and end time is negotiable but will need to occur roughly between 7:30 am and 5:30 pm, Monday-Friday. Further flexibility is a possibility for the right candidate. The expected starting pay range for this position is $18-$21 per hour. Because of the hands-on nature of this position, the successful candidate should be prepared to work in person at our office in Lake Oswego.
