Junior Graphic Designer

Job Description: 

As an integral member of the Elevate Media House team, our Junior Graphic Designer will play a pivotal role in bringing client visions to life and ensuring that creative projects run smoothly. This Junior Graphic Designer position calls for a proactive, self-starter with a forward-thinking mindset. You’ll thrive in this role if you’re passionate about producing designs for various types of media for a wide range of clients. This position requires a strong sense of design, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to adapt to different brand aesthetics. As a small agency, we value team players who are adaptable and willing to wear multiple hats as needed. 

This position is currently a fully remote hourly contractor position. This position can become full-time once our workload requires 40 hours of weekly work. Please only apply if you are interested in becoming a full-time employee in the next 60-120 days.  

Key Responsibilities: 

• Serve as creative support for all creative initiatives, including graphic design, photo editing, video editing, illustrations, animations, etc. 
• Apply client information and brand assets to graphic design templates for email, print, and digital display 
• Edit and refine designs based on feedback from Art/Creative director and clients 
• Reference brand guidelines to correctly use client logos, typography, and color palettes 
• Collaborate internally with copywriters, designers, and marketing strategists to execute campaigns and designs 
• Serve as support for client social media graphic design 

You’ll be a great fit at Elevate Media House if you: 

• Have 1 years of working in a graphic design role with portfolio samples 
• Are proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere, After Effects) and other relevant software 
• Possess a “can-do” attitude and are willing to roll up your sleeves and assist where needed 
• Can juggle multiple projects at once and pivot priorities as directed by leadership 
• Strong understanding of layout, typography, color, and branding principles 
• Think “outside the box” to bring fresh ideas to the table for continuous improvement of our agency 
• Pursue efficiencies for process and communication to make day-to-day tasks more effective 
• Follow through on tasks to successful completion autonomously, and don’t get overwhelmed with deadline pressures
