Now is a good time to join our team, we are searching for a full-time Profee Ophthalmology Coding Specialist. Schedule required Monday-Friday business hours.
What you'll do
- Review ophthalmology medical records and properly code the charts
- Receiving and reviewing patients’ charts and documents for verification and accuracy
- Meet or exceed high quality and productivity standards, to provide exceptional coding services to our clients
- Complying with medical coding guidelines and policies
- Keep active coding certifications and complete continuing education to maintain expertise expertise in complex profee coding scenarios
What you'll need
- At least 3 years of profee ophthalmology coding experience in a teaching setting required
- Current, relevant AHIMA or AAPC coding credentials (AAPC COPC preferred)
- Available to work Monday - Friday Business Hours
- Access to high speed internet and workstation. (Elevate IT requirements are available upon request)
- Athena experience is a plus
