Position Purpose
The Corporate Paralegal will provide administrative support to the Legal department. This position requires a strong background in corporate services and transactional work and the ability to manage complex and competing priorities. The Corporate Paralegal will work closely with a tight knit legal team to execute the company’s strategic priorities and mitigate risk accordingly.

This is a SALARY position with Elevate Outdoor Collective. The pay range for this role is $80,000-$100,000 annually.

Position Purpose
The Corporate Paralegal will provide administrative support to the Legal department. This position requires a strong background in corporate services and transactional work and the ability to manage complex and competing priorities. The Corporate Paralegal will work closely with a tight knit legal team to execute the company’s strategic priorities and mitigate risk accordingly.
Essential Job Duties
- Leverage tools to streamline new or existing practices, including rollout and training for third party engagement and document management, while ensuring alignment with company standards.
- Support the company’s contract management cycle using our CLM tool to manage intake, assignment, status, versioning, execution, and renewals; continuously develop process improvements for the same.
- Support the Legal team by managing and maintaining contract forms, including creation of new forms and involvement in variation to enhance efficiencies and management of template review meetings.
- Support Legal team by reviewing legal inbox and triaging legal requests from company stakeholders.
- Support the Legal team by taking on projects which require critical thinking and strong organizational skills and may range from contract review analysis and legal research to legal operations support and policy and process development.
- Organize and maintain physical and electronic files in the company’s document management system; update and correct records and files in various systems as necessary.
- Perform systematic storage, tracking, and destruction of business documents and records, including drafting and filing of corporate governance documents.
- Utilize and serve as subject matter expert for companies digital signing solution.
- Perform intake and processing of outside service provider invoices, development and management of e-billing solution.
- Create reports, charts, and spreadsheets as requested.
- Other duties as assigned by the VP Legal.
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in a field of law or related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of paralegal experience (in-house or law firm)
- Paralegal studies certification program certification
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects.
- Strong familiarity with contract lifecycle and corporate governance best practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proactive customer service mindset with a desire to create positive experiences for stakeholders.
- Excellent phone and computer skills.
- Able to take direction well, using active listening skills, asking questions, and taking notes if necessary.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, DocuSign, and task tracking software.
- Working knowledge of some or all of the following practice areas: insurance, products liability, international corporate governance standards, and international data privacy laws.
- Experience working with a multinational organization with team members in multiple time zones.
- Background working with consumer product development teams
- Strong desire to learn about EOC’s products and process and to propose iterations or updates to realize greater efficiency.
- Sitting for long periods of time
- Working on computer
