General Laborer - Repairs & Property Management Construction

As a General Laborer, you will assist with a variety of tasks on repair, renovation, and property maintenance projects. Whether you're mowing, painting, repairing drywall, performing light plumbing or electrical work, or helping with general property upkeep, your role will be vital in ensuring that all properties are well-maintained and safe for residents and tenants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with Repairs and Maintenance: Help with a wide range of repair tasks, including drywall repairs, minor plumbing, light electrical, painting, and general maintenance for both residential and commercial properties.
• General Labor Support: Assist tradespeople, including carpenters, electricians, and plumbers, in completing their tasks.
• Property Upkeep: Ensure that properties are clean, safe, and well-maintained. Perform general property maintenance such as lawn care, trash removal, and keeping common areas clean.
• Material Handling: Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment to job sites. Transport materials as needed.
• Light Demolition: Assist in light demolition tasks when required, including removing old materials and clearing spaces for new construction or repairs.
• Safety and Cleanliness: Adhere to safety standards, guidelines, and regulations. Maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Work With Team: Collaborate with other workers, including property managers and maintenance staff, to complete projects in a timely and efficient manner.
• Communication: Report issues, concerns, or needed supplies to the supervisor in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

• Work Ethic: A strong commitment to quality and safety with the ability to work efficiently and independently.
• Physical Ability: Must be able to lift heavy materials and perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
• Experience: No prior experience required, but knowledge of hand tools, power tools, or basic construction skills is a plus.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to follow directions and complete tasks accurately.
• Team Player: Ability to work effectively with a team and support experienced technicians and property managers.
• Reliability: Must be punctual and dependable with a good attendance record. Reliable transportation to and from job sites is a must.
