Are you passionate about driving growth and fostering strong relationships within the business community? We're seeking a sales representative to join our team at Elevate Rapid City. In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in recruiting new investors and enhancing investor relations.

This is an onsite full-time, salary plus commission, position – must be a current resident of Rapid City region.


Compensation:

  • Base Salary: $40,000
  • On-Target Earnings (OTE): $55,000 - $123,000 per year, combining base salary, commissions, and performance-based incentives

Overview of Primary Accountabilities – New Investor Recruiting

  • Ensures that the targets for new investor revenue are met or surpassed through personalized sales efforts aimed at organizations that stand to gain from investing with Elevate Rapid City.
  • Implement Elevate Rapid City’s standardized recruiting processes to drive new investor revenue.
  • Actively seek out and connect with prospective investors to establish positive relationships with business owners and executive leaders.
  • Assess the needs and motivations of prospective investors and align them with Elevate Rapid City programs and resources.
  • Serve as liaison between prospective investors and Elevate Rapid City leadership.
  • Maintain daily proactive outbound prospecting activities and meet performance goals.


Overview of Primary Accountabilities – Investor Relations

  • Cultivate positive and professional relationships with designated investors to underscore the value of their investment, fostering renewal each year, particularly those acquired by the incumbent.
  • Implement Elevate Rapid City’s standardized investor relations processes to foster positive relationships with assigned investors.
  • Engage in the onboarding process for newly recruited investors.
  • Upsell current investors to increase engagement and revenue.
  • Monitor investor retention and mitigate attrition issues.
  • Maintain daily proactive investor activities and meet performance goals.


General Accountabilities

  • Participate in Elevate Rapid City meetings, events, and programs to cultivate investor relations and engage with prospective investors.
  • Represent Elevate Rapid City at assigned business and community events.
  • Prepare investor sales and investor relations reports as required.
  • Must have/maintain a dependable vehicle and must provide proof of insurance and valid driver’s license upon request (mileage reimbursement provided)


Qualifications

  • Ideally, 3 years of experience in B2B business development, account management, sales, or related experience, demonstrating revenue-generating success.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.
  • Residency within the Rapid City region is required.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, MS Word, and MS Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and in team settings.
  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills.


Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Requires ability to sit for extended periods.
  • Involves occasional evening work and attendance at events.
  • Professional office setting with interaction with staff and investors.
