Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Repair Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in troubleshooting and repairing various systems. This role involves working with low voltage and distributed control systems, as well as calibrating equipment to ensure optimal performance. The Repair Technician will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and maintaining equipment to meet operational standards.
Duties
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in equipment and systems.
- Utilize Calypso software to detect faults and assess system performance.
- Work with low voltage systems and distributed control systems to ensure proper functionality.
- Perform calibration of equipment to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
- Conduct field service visits to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues on-site.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, calibrations, and maintenance performed.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve system designs based on repair experiences.
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers regarding equipment operation.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Repair Technician or similar role in a technical field.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work on CNC machines and logic controllers.
- Familiarity with hydraulics and their applications in machinery repair.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex issues effectively.
- Experience in field service is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
- Willingness to continuously learn new technologies and repair techniques.
