We are seeking an experienced professional or a highly capable graduate student to assist in the design and development of 16- to 20-bit high-resolution data converters, including Analog-to-Digital Converters (ADCs) and Digital-to-Analog Converters (DACs), for high-precision applications. The focus is on Nyquist data converter architectures capable of generating or processing precise DC levels with extremely low noise. Candidates should have a deep understanding of precision analog circuit design and be capable of solving system and application-based design constraints.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and optimize 16- to 20-bit high-resolution ADCs and DACs for stable and precise DC level generation and processing with high precision and low noise.
- Develop architectures tailored to the unique constraints of precision applications.
- Implement advanced noise reduction techniques, including addressing thermal and 1 / f noise.
- Design and execute calibration schemes to ensure stable and accurate operation under varying conditions.
- Address layout parasitics and noise coupling to maintain high performance in high-resolution designs.
- Perform detailed simulation and verification using tools such as Cadence, Mentor, or Synopsys, including noise and mismatch analysis.
- Document the design process, technical findings, and performance results in a clear and organized manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to align design goals and ensure successful project delivery.
