ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE, GROUP SALES – OVERVIEW:
Elevate is seeking a motivated self-starter to join our team as the Account Executive, Group Sales for the Washington Spirit. The Group Sales Executive plays a key role in creating unforgettable matchday experiences for Spirit fans at Audi Field. This position is ideal for a driven, team-oriented professional with a competitive spirit and a passion for exceeding sales goals. The Group Sales Executive is responsible for generating revenue through the sale of customized group outings and experiences, while also cross-selling the full range of Washington Spirit ticketing products. In addition to prospecting and securing new business, this individual will manage, support, and renew assigned accounts.

The Group Sales Executive is responsible for generating revenue through the sale of customized group outings and experiences, while also cross-selling the full range of Washington Spirit ticketing products. In addition to prospecting and securing new business, this individual will manage, support, and renew assigned accounts.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Sell a full menu of Washington Spirit ticketing products, with a primary focus on group outings and premium hospitality packages.
- Achieve annual group sales revenue goals while providing outstanding service and support to group leaders and organizations.
- Self-prospect and build strong partnerships with local schools, nonprofits, youth sports organizations, and businesses by attending community events, meetings, and networking opportunities.
- Create and implement new group experience programs and themed matchday events that drive revenue and enhance the group participant experience.
- Consistently meet or exceed weekly activity benchmarks, including outbound calls, meetings, emails, and other meaningful touchpoints.
- Build strong relationships to drive group account retention and growth through monthly touchpoints and exceptional matchday experiences.
- Work cross-functionally with internal departments—such as marketing, fan experience, and game day operations—to successfully execute on-field and in-stadium group activations.
- Attend all Washington Spirit home matches, sales events, and community appearances, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
QUALIFICATIONS:

A. Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sports Management, Marketing or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 8 months related experience working in professional or collegiate sports preferred.
- Experience with Archtics & Ticketmaster ticket systems preferred.
B. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Highly proactive, goal oriented and motivated with a positive attitude.
- Very strong interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for providing great customer service.
- Coordinate changing priorities in a dynamic, high pressure, fast paced environment.
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and creatively solve day-to-day challenges.
- Strong work ethic – must be a team player with a “get the job done” attitude.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Power Point, Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including but not limited to evenings, weekends and holidays.
